$20 - $22 / hour, Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
In-person training (typically 90 days) required, hybrid option available after successful completion of training! Essential Functions: Ensures that all orders are revenue qualified according to federal/state/regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and best practices resulting in the production of clean claims Ensures revenue qualification procedures facilitate smooth operations between documentation department and all other departments Ensures that timely follow-up is completed on the all-work queues including, but not limited to, authorizations, document follow up, and order processing Ensures that contact with insurance is completed and documented timely and accurately to ensure eligibility and coverage for items ordered Ensures that documents logged are accurate and meet the qualifications of the payer Processes and reviews each file to ensure all necessary documentation has been obtained and compliant prior to processing the order (medical and insurance documents, prescriptions, LMN, Face-to-Face, etc.) Resolves customer questions, concerns, and complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate action Handi was rated as a Top Work Place by the Star Tribune the last 8 years! Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent One-year related experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software General working knowledge of computer systems Maintains a professional image at all times while demonstrating commitment to our mission and values Our Mission is to Enrich Lives with respect, integrity, compassion and excellence!
