HMF Express / Senneca Holdings is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our commercial doors are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery to ensure it functions efficiently and produces high-quality products. Perform routine maintenance on machines, including trouble-shooting minor issues and ensuring machinery is in optimal working condition. Assist in the setup of machines for different production tasks, including adjusting settings and calibrating equipment. Inspect products for defects and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. Work closely with maintenance technicians to identify and resolve any mechanical or electrical issues with the machinery. Ensure the workplace is clean, safe, and organized at all times, adhering to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures. Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, maintenance activities, and material usage. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and improve manufacturing processes. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience operating machinery in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical skills with the ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments on machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Desired Qualifications: Technical training or certification in machine operation or a related field. Experience with metal fabrication and welding is a plus. Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
