Transportation Agent

Amstar DMC is looking for a Transportation Agent to join our Punta Cana's office. The right candidate will be able to ensure the transportation of our customers in full, maintaining quality standards, safety, hygiene and punctuality, while we build a cost-effective and low-cost operation.

A successful Transportation Agent will have:
• High School Diploma or higher.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken & written).
• Knowledge of the office Package
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Able to work on a rotating work schedule.
• Problem solving mentality.
• Hold a Dominican ID.


A successful Transportation Agent will:
• Load properly the EMB according to the operational criteria.Communicate and uphold policies pertaining to fulfillment of Travel Agent/Consumer expectations.
• Read, process and answer any email enquiring the attention of the Transportation department.
• Assist courteously and efficiently the incoming calls from other departments and clients.
• Build the operation based on arrival and departure clients according to the criteria of saving cost and rules provided by the manager.
• Make sure each departure service is correctly dispatched from the office.
• Make daily auditory per assignation in weekly schedule.
• Assist with the recompilation of info for the complaints.
• Cover the overnight duty once a week for assistance by phone at night.
• Conciliate transportation orders with airport report and adjust per the right arrival number of clients and vehicle used for the operation.
• Check the Go Show and No-Show report.
