Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for supporting key supply chain and sourcing initiatives across business units and internal functional areas such as finance, accounts payable, and operations. Key activities include market analysis for various spend areas, supporting category managers with RFI and RFP process, corporate purchasing data analysis and interpretation, assembly of key metrics for goal reporting/tracking, project management relating to process improvement projects, vendor engagement relating to tactical issues, and direct management of assigned spend categories.
Incumbents of this role are required to be on call and/or available after hours, to provide their own mobile device, and to distribute their mobile phone number accordingly. Alternatively, individuals may distribute their office phone number if their office phone is set to forward calls to their personal device when they are not physically present.

Monitor the work performance of assigned personnel on a continual basis; conduct effective performance reviews; take corrective action whenever necessary and, where necessary, work with HR Generalists to establish performance improvement plans.
Support the development of assigned personnel's skills and abilities, and demonstrate by personal example the desired standards of conduct (Jostens values) and work performance.
Identify and resolve skill gaps and succession issues.
Administer Company policies with regard to discipline, absenteeism, etc., in a fair and equitable manner, and fully document all incidents and actions taken.
Involve assigned HR Generalist on compliance issues such as pay equity, equal opportunity in hiring and promotions, and proper procedures for hiring, terminations, lay-offs, etc.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Applied Economics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
0-3 years in supply chain, financial analysis, operations, project management, business, or product management Ability to meet deadlines and manage many projects simultaneously
Intermediate-advanced MS Excel skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize patterns within data and form conclusions with some level of ambiguity
Ability to communicate and build relationships across multiple functions and levels of the organization and external suppliers
Ability to research and analyze various supply markets for sourcing opportunities
Ability to work independently and make decisions independently
Ability to work on and prioritize diverse projects simultaneously
