Wings Credit Union is hiring a Sr Treasury Analyst. The person in this role will provide complex financial analysis in support of decision-making related to asset-liability management, including interest rate risk, balance sheet forecasting, liquidity risk, capital planning and pricing, that creates a clear framework for strategic decision making.
Essential Functions: Prepare and analyze large data sets involving historical balances, cash flows and income/expense for statistical analyses, making recommendations for action based upon results. Leverage quantitative skillset to develop institution-specific assumptions for loan and deposit behaviors. Collaborate with a variety of departments across the credit union to provide data, analysis, and reporting. Proactively make suggestions for the enhancement of analytics and reporting. Monitor the loan and deposit pricing market for review with management. Responsible for development and production of monthly reports for the Asset Liability Commission (ALCO), weekly reporting for Loan and Deposit Pricing Committees, and other reporting as assigned. Contribute to the Interest Rate Risk (IRR) position reporting, measuring net economic value and earnings at risk. Support enterprise-wide balance sheet forecasting and planning process. Contribute to the development of the capital plan, including stress scenarios and sensitivity testing. Contribute to CECL modeling and credit analysis. Assist with Daily Cash Flow model. Research regulatory guidance and maintain enterprise policies and procedures, including but not limited to data governance and compliance. In partnership with leader, work to execute strategies to achieve the optimal mix of asset products and liability products. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or Accounting, or equivalent work experience or combination of education/experience. 5 or more years' experience with asset-liability management (ALM), financial analysis, fixed income investments and/or financial accounting required. Treasury, FP&A, quantitative analysis and/or ALM modeling experience. Skills/Abilities/Competencies: Excellent analytic and organization skills. Adept at learning new complex software, such as our ALM software ZMdesk or forecasting software Axiom.
