Description
The Property Technician supports building and structural needs at current branch offices and assesses and secures spaces for future locations. This position plans, budgets, and schedules existing facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs; and acts as the point of contact for landlords and property management representatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assesses future facilities spaces in collaboration with executive leadership and assists management with the development and management of facilities capital projects. Acts as point of contact with landlords and property management representatives coordinating services and schedules with external vendors for all locations. Acts as point of contact with office managers and administrative staff to troubleshoot facility-related issues for all locations. Sources and oversees vendor contracts related to facility maintenance needs, if not covered by landlords or property managers, including janitorial, signage, landscaping, and snow removal. Ensures accuracy and collection of all maintenance and work order records. Complies with all safety, security, and regulatory protocols. Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of one year of related experience, preferably in a regulated industry High school diploma or equivalent Possess valid driver's license, insurance and have a good driving record required SKILLS Self-motivated, agile and ability to work in an autonomous environment Must have a strong safety mindset Must be motivated to learn new technical skills and be flexible in adapting to daily changes in multiple work tasks Know and be able to perform facilities duties according to company policies and Industry Standards Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Good customer service skills Good Oral & Written communication skills Able to read, write and understand English Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must be "hands-on" and assist in completing maintenance work. Background working with outside vendors and contractors. Some weekend and evening work required. Additional travel may be required. Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach, and lift 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to work in hot or freezing weather
