Are you a skilled healthcare professional with a passion for patient care? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, drawing blood samples, and preparing specimens for lab testing.
Key Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, following established protocols. Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling. Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients. Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and handle patient information with care. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is required (in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in keyboard/data entry. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable). Ability to travel to multiple locations and work flexible hours.
