About the Opportunity:
•Job Title: Paint Prepper Technician
•Pay: $20/Hour
•Location: Vadnais Heights, MN
•Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 5AM-1:30PM.
Daily functions:
Perform final finishing and assembly duties on assigned units in the Paint Department. Assemble and disassemble units to ensure equipment is restored to its original working condition after leaving the spray booth. Touch up paint with brush where repaired and as instructed. Repair spot panel as needed. Wet-sand buff imperfections as needed. Apply vinyl according to decal location instructions. Apply full vinyl wrap as directed. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or modified either formally or informally, either in writing or verbally at the discretion of Management.
Desired qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2+ years' experience as a detailer or prepper at a paint and auto body shop. Certified forklift operator or ability to pass training. Single stage paint experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude, experience as an auto mechanic, preferred. Strong Attention to detail Certified forklift operator or ability to pass forklift training. Ability to follow processes.
Physical requirements:
Perform work on the production floor 100% of the time. Lift up to 50 pounds, as needed. Standing for long durations of time. Must be able to bend, stoop and crouch.
