Job Summary We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform/Ingres Developer that will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Microsoft Power Platform and Ingres application systems in both test and production environments. In this role, you will ensure that all production changes adhere to lifecycle methodologies, version control practices, thorough testing, and risk management guidelines. As the internal expert for these systems, you will document and manage system changes while playing a critical role in providing top-tier customer service and support to internal users. Your responsibilities will include conducting technical and analytical work, designing and developing solutions, performing needs assessments, and managing the product lifecycle. This role is a senior-level position requiring strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering quality solutions. This position is currently eligible for full-time telework: Telework for Minnesota IT Services allows an employee to perform work from a telework location and an employee may be required to be in the office based on business needs and other dependencies in St. Paul, Minnesota. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume. Resume tips here. : Position requires a minimum of five (5) years of IT related experience in Microsoft Power Platform and Ingres. Experience must include: Experience in Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Power Platform (including Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Portal/Pages) Experience designing and building customizations for Power Platform. Experience writing custom code and integration with third party services and external APIs. Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties. Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving. A master's degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor's degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate's degree substitutes for one (1) year. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years experience in Microsoft Power Platform. Three (3) years experience in Ingres. Experience delivering custom-developed systems for the business, implementing Power Platform solutions. Advanced C# and JavaScript programming skills to support development and integration of Power Platform applications. Experience with SQL Query writing skills and familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio/Azure Data Studio for database management and integration. Advanced knowledge of XRM toolkit. Experience with Source Control Systems (such as GitHub). Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Visual Studio for plug-in development.
