As the Inventory Planning Analyst, your day-to-day duties will include:
Partnering with other merchandising team members to manage all aspects of the merchandise offering - selection, negotiation, pricing, procurement and dispositionFollow established replenishment guidelines to ensure adequate inventory levels to support projected salesCreating and entering purchase orders, review order confirmations for pricing accuracy and inventory availability, and communicate product availability status to Merchandising Team and store teamsMonitoring backorders and work with vendor partners to determine estimated-time-of-arrival for outstanding ordersWorks with Director of Merchandising to evaluate financial information, current trends, and market changes that impact buying decisions and strategiesPerform other duties and responsibilities as required by management

Requirements for the role:
4-year college degree, two years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experiencePrevious experience in buying, vendor management, inventory management, and/or retailLimited travel within the Twin Cities metro area may be requiredTypical work week is 40 hours, although additional time may be required based on workload
