M Health Fairview has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Team Coordinator at the M Health Fairview Eagan Clinic. Join M Health Fairview, the largest healthcare system in the state!
Clinic hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We have some flexibility with scheduling, eight or ten hour shifts. This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two week pay period), benefits-eligible opening.
Responsibilities/Job Description:
The working lead serves as the go to person to assist with communication, coordinates and provides training, orientation and department assimilation. Encourages and motivates team for immediate problem resolution, provides a consistent presence. Anticipates, identifies and reports departmental areas of concern to clinic supervisor. Champions and promotes a collaborative and conducive team environment. Completes sophisticated and/or high standard project work, but is not a substitute for team member thinking and initiative.
Coordinates daily activities of work team to ensure patient needs are met.
Monitors daily work assignments and makes adjustments in assignments to meet department requirements. Responds to and helps resolve operational issues, including provider issues Coordinate's staff orientation and training. Provide education training and orientation to new and existing staff
Participates in interview process. Provides observations and assists with testing for proficiency regarding performance, conduct and behavior for performance management. Promotes team environment within department, other site departments, and other clinics.
Serves as a clinic representative at peer group or other meetings as assigned. Provides motivation and reassurance to employees, Serves as mentor within the dept Supports a safe work environment.
Ensures equipment is in working order and quality control logs are completed as needed. Qualifications: Successful completion of formal medical training program such as MA, HUC, NA, or Medical Secretary, or minimum of 1 year comparable experience in a healthcare setting. Preferred Experience 2 or more years experience in a medical setting
