Success Criteria:
As a continuous learner, you'll be tasked with getting up-to-speed on our existing projects and work closely with various team members to build creative technical solutions to take on complex engineering problems.
This role requires solid technical acumen and interest in hands-on machine design, electro-mechanical systems, automation, and should possess a functional understanding of both mechanics and control systems. The ideal candidate is driven to deliver and proactively work in a team environment with other mechanical, controls, and software engineers.
Our customers expect quality, and so do we. Using your technical judgment for planning, organizing, performing, and coordinating product development engineering assignments will get you further faster. Some of key responsibilities of the role include:
Developing mechanical automation designs from customer specifications Researching commercially available hardware components and sub-assemblies that can be incorporated into the machine design to reduce cost and improve reliability Participating in customer design reviews Producing detailed design drawings for system procurement, fabrication, and assembly.
