Job Description
Regions Hospital is looking for a highly motivated clinical oncology pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and clinical expertise to patients in several outpatient Cancer Center areas associated with Regions Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for a wide range of oncology patients, working within Epic Beacon, and precepting learners. This position will primarily be scheduled for weekday day shifts at this time. Weekends, evenings, and holidays are not currently part of the role but that could change if patient care needs shift over time.
Pharmacists at Regions Hospital provide professional pharmaceutical services by rounding with patient care teams, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information and education to healthcare providers and patients/families, precepting pharmacy students and residents, reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, overseeing the work of direct support personnel, and participating in quality and safety improvement projects.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift. This position will work in multiple locations. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy. Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota. At least one of the following: Three or more years of current work experience equivalent to a residency with direct patient care in oncology. Completion of a post-doctorate pharmacy program with an emphasis in oncology (i.e., residency or fellowship such as a PGY-2 ASHP-accredited pharmacy program). Board certification in oncology (BCOP). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in research and investigational medications. Experience building relationships with distant care sites via technology platforms. Post-graduate training and/or specialty BPS Board Certification. Licensed preceptor with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy. Additional Information:
This is a union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position working in multiple locations in Minnesota. The full salary range for this position is $71.95-$81.94 per hour, based on experience. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits, which begin on day one of employment.
